An image recording optics (10) e.g. micro mirrors or micro lenses, has a focusing unit for providing a rod-shaped focal point with a focussing width, which is larger in comparison with focussing height such that adjacent rod-shaped focal point overlaps at the ends of the focal points in the direction of the longer half axis of the focal point.
