PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, always obtaining the same correction result regardless of types of correction to be applied. SOLUTION: This image processor includes: a decoding means (an image processing part 20e) for decoding image data to be processed; a red-eye detecting means (a red-eye processing part 20j) for performing red-eye detection processing based on the decoded image data generated by the decoding means; a thinning means (a control part 20c) for thinning the decoded image data when correcting the image data; a calculating means (a correction processing part 20i) for calculating a correction parameter based on the thinning image data generated by the thinning means; and a correction means (the correction processing part 20i) for performing the correction processing based on the detection result of the red-eye detecting means and the correction parameter.
