PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat reclining device capable of favorably absorbing the gap and the fitting error between a lock member giving an arc motion as a seatback is tilted and a striker giving a straight motion, while providing a rail member of a simple straight structure. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat reclining device comprises a straight rail member 11 attached to a vehicle body side to the locus of tiltation of a seatback, a slider 12 slidably fitted to the rail member, a lock device 20 for regulating or permitting the movement of the slider with respect to the rail member, and a U-shaped striker 13 with one end 13a and the other end 13b being connected to the slider. The other end 13b of the striker is turnably connected to the slider, and one end 13a to be engaged with a lock member is connected to the slider rockingly around the other end 13b.
