PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator enabling switching between one-way operation performed in one refrigeration circuit and multi-way operation performed in two or more refrigeration circuits and hardly declined in cooling capacity during the switching. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 is provided with a low-temperature side refrigeration circuit 11 and a high-temperature side refrigeration circuit 12. The refrigerator 1 enables switching between the one-way operation for circulating a refrigerant between a high-temperature side condenser 32 and a high-temperature side first evaporator 35 in the high-temperature side refrigeration circuit 12 and cooling the refrigerant and the multi-way operation for circulating a refrigerant between the high-temperature side condenser 32 and a high-temperature side second evaporator 36 in the high-temperature side refrigeration circuit 12, circulating a refrigerant between a low-temperature side condenser 22 and a low-temperature side evaporator 24 in the low-temperature side refrigeration circuit 11 and cooling the refrigerant in the low-temperature side evaporator 24. The refrigerator 1 is further provided with a connection passage 62 functioning as a suction injection circuit by circulating a refrigerant without making it pass through the high-temperature side first evaporator 35 during the one-way operation, and the high-temperature side second evaporator 36 used in the multi-way operation is arranged on the connection passage 62.
