<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch having a structure corresponding to a large-diameter rotor without increasing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A friction surface 14c of an armature 14 fitted to a rotary shaft 3 of a compressor 2 through the medium of a hub 10 and a stopper plate 11 and a friction surface 6f of a rotor 6 are opposed with an air gap G2 therebetween. A core 18 for covering an exciting coil 19 is fixed to a mounting plate 17 fixed to a housing of the compressor 2. The mounting plate 17 is formed of a magnetic material and extended so that a cylinder part 21 thereof faces an inner peripheral part of an outside cylinder part 6b of the rotor 6 with a marginal space S1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
