<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency by improving weight balance. <P>SOLUTION: A centroid position changing portion 140 is attached on the rear end of an insulated operation rod 110 of an insulated plier 100, and the centroid position of the insulated operation rod 110 is moved to the rear end side. The weight balance of the insulated plier 100 is improved, the weight an operator feels is improved, and operability is improved. The centroid position changing portion 140 has a first cylindrical portion 141A attached on the rear end side of the insulated operation rod 110, and a second cylindrical portion 141B movably fitted to the first cylindrical portion 141A and having a predetermined-weighing weight 143 attached on the rear end side.
