<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energization device for a consumable electrode type melting furnace by which, even in the case where, in the process of melting, a consumable electrode and a stinger rod for suspending it are inclined, no spark is caused between the stinger rod and a contactor, and stable operation is made possible. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises: a plurality of contactors 50 disposed around the axial center of a stinger rod 2; a contactor holder 31 which has a contactor fitting hole 42 for fitting the contactor slidably from the outer periphery of the stinger rod in a direction of the axial center and feeds electric power supplied from an external power supply unit to the contactor; a pressing part 70 for pressing the contactor fitted in the contactor fitting hole against the stinger rod; and a tilt absorbing part 59 which is provided to a position between the contactor and the contactor fitting hole and in the upper and the lower part in the direction of the axial center of the stinger rod and can tilt the contactor following the inclination of the stinger rod. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
