PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress occurrence of skew on a recording paper in conveying the recording paper by a conveyance roller.SOLUTION: A conveyance mechanism 11 of a printer includes a conveyance roller 22, and first and second division rollers 23(1), 23(2). The first division roller 23(1) has lower hardness than the second division roller 23(2), and is pressed to the conveyance roller 22 with pressing force greater than the second division roller 23(2). Thereby, a nip width of an outer peripheral surface part in a conveyance direction D where a roller outer peripheral surface of a first driven roller 23 is in contact with the conveyance roller 22 is larger than a nip width of an outer peripheral surface part in a conveyance direction D where a roller outer peripheral surface of a second driven roller 23 is in contact with the conveyance roller 22, and thus skew of a recording paper 3 caused by a tolerance of the conveyance roller 22 is cancelled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
