摘要 The present invention provides a thermoelectric material for mid-temperature including bulk-type tungsten diselenide (WSe_2). The bulk-type WSe_2 which is the thermoelectric material for mid-temperature according to the present invention may have a crystal structure represented by hexagonal molybdenite. In addition, the thermoelectric material for mid-temperature shows the characteristics of a p-type semiconductor material and has an effect of showing excellent thermoelectric properties at mid-temperature (300 through 600°C) because thermoelectric performance of the thermoelectric material increases as temperature increases. Moreover, a method of preparing the bulk-type WSe_2 suggested by the present invention is sintering tungsten into bulk in an easy way by using discharge plasma in that it is not easy to make tungsten, which has a high melting point, bulk.
