A waterproof backlight module comprising a light-guide plate (10) and a reflective plate (20) below same. Above the light-guide plate (10) are arranged in successive layers an optical film (30) and a display panel (40), and a plastic frame (60) is provided at the sides of the light-guide plate (10) and of the optical film (30). A waterproof sealant (70) is provided at the seam where the display panel (40) contacts the plastic frame (60) and at the seam where the reflective plate (20) contacts the plastic frame (60). Water vapor is thus effectively blocked from entering an electronic mobile terminal and affecting electronic components therein. Circuits operate normally, structural modification is slight, processing is simple and the effects are obvious, thus clearly enhancing the waterproof performance of electronic terminals and adapting same to more complex environments. |
