A resource allocation method and device. The method comprises: acquiring a plurality of resource allocation requests, wherein each resource allocation request comprises information about a request to allocate a target resource from a source library to a destination library (S31); detecting whether the plurality of resource allocation requests meet a merge triggering condition (S32); and when the merge triggering condition is met, merging the plurality of resource allocation requests so as to obtain one or more resource allocation instructions, wherein each resource allocation instruction comprises information about an instruction for allocating the target resource from the source library to the destination library (S33). Compared with the prior art, by means of the merge operation on the resource allocation requests which are associated with each other, the present invention realizes resource sharing within one resource library and among a plurality of resource libraries, avoids repeated and redundant allocation operations on the same target resource among the resource libraries, thereby generally reducing the number of times of actual allocations of the target resource, decreasing the probability of resource loss, and reducing the actual allocation cost. |
