PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a two-sep right turn during route search.SOLUTION: A route search system includes an input unit 231 that receives various pieces of information on a vehicle including a motor-inclusive bicycle, a route network database 108 containing information on the number of lanes of a road and a passage cost at an intersection which is added at the time of passing an intersection in route search, and a route search unit 112 and 232 that references the route network database 108 and determines a route led to a destination on the basis of a cumulative cost of each of candidate routes including the passage cost at each intersection. When the type of vehicle is a motor-inclusive bicycle (S650), if a candidate route includes a point at which an intersection whose entry side has three or more lanes (S610 and S660), the route search unit 112 and 232 includes in the cumulative cost a cost, which is larger than the passage cost for a right turn to be adopted to a case where the type of vehicle is not the motor-inclusive bicycle, as a cost to be added depending on the right turn at the intersection (S680).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
