PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin, short-focal-length lens module comprising microlenses that are securely bonded together in a manner that prevents overflow of adhesive.SOLUTION: A microlens module is obtained by; joining two lens module substrates 100, each comprising a transparent substrate 3 having semi-convex lenses 8 and a support 6, with a groove thereon in a circumferential area of the transparent substrate 3, formed thereon such that the semi-convex lenses 8 face each other; and filling the grooves with adhesive 9 to bond the two lens module substrates 100 together at respective supports 6.
