PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incinerator having a primary combustion chamber, which can prevent the primary combustion chamber from being in an explosive combustion state, and reduce fuel required in the primary combustion chamber.SOLUTION: In an incinerator having a primary combustion chamber 2, a lower part of a peripheral surface 2a and a lower wall 2c constituting the primary combustion chamber 2 comprise a refractory 7 to form a combustion zone, and an upper part of the peripheral wall 2a and an upper wall 2b constituting the primary combustion chamber 2 comprise a water jacket 8 housing water thereinside. By utilizing heat stored in the refractory constituting the combustion zone, and absorbing part of combustion heat in the primary combustion chamber, an excellent combustion state can be kept.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
