PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Taylor reaction device capable of achieving desired particle size and particle size distribution by suppressing short pass.SOLUTION: A Taylor reaction device A is configured so that, a gap space 10 formed between an outer cylinder 1 and an inner cylinder 2 serves as a Taylor swirl generation area. The gap space 10 comprises a suppression path 7 for suppressing floating between Taylor swirls T, T, and passage length of the suppression path 7 is equal to or more than 1 mm, and equal to or less than 10 mm. The suppression path 7 is an outside annular path 7b formed between an annular inside block plate 6b projecting outward from an outer peripheral face of the inner cylinder 2, and an inner peripheral face of the outer cylinder 1. If the length of the suppression path 7 is 1-10 mm, short pass between the Taylor swirls T, T can be suppressed, so that a ratio of particles which flow out in a state, whose resident time is short, can be suppressed, so that, particles grow to desired particle size in the same Taylor swirl, and then transfer to the next Taylor swirl, so that, particles have desired particle size and have small particle size distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
