The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a data transmission method, device and system, capable of solving the problem of the failure in coding an incomplete sub-frame due to not knowing the length of the incomplete sub-frame in the prior art. A specific solution is: a first device generates, according to first data, a first sub-frame and a second sub-frame, determines, according to an RV of the second sub-frame, a redundant version (RV) of the first sub-frame, and transmits M OFDM symbols in N OFDM symbols of the first sub-frame and N OFDM symbols of the second sub-frame to a second device.
