1. A dark current cutoff device comprising:
a battery configured to perform electrical power supply to a load; an open/close unit configured to cut off the electrical power supply to the load at a time of being opened, and supply electrical power to the load at a time of being closed, the open/close unit being provided between the battery and the load; a failure recording unit configured to determine and record, in a case where the load does not operate, a failure of the load; an open/close determining unit configured to determine that the open/close unit is opened; a recording prohibiting unit configured to, in a case where the open/close unit is determined to be opened by the open/close determining unit, prohibit the failure recording unit from determining and recording the failure; an abnormality detecting unit configured to detect abnormality of the open/close unit; and wherein the recording prohibiting unit does not execute an operation of prohibiting the determining and the recording in a case where the abnormality of the open/close unit is detected by the abnormality detecting unit.
