PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell the power generation performance of which can be enhanced, while enhancing the gas seal performance.SOLUTION: The fuel electrode collector 21 of a power generation element A is embedded, respectively, in first recesses 12 provided at a plurality of positions on the principal surface of a support substrate 10. The fuel electrode active part 22 and the solid electrolyte 41 of a power generation element A are embedded in a second recess 21a formed in the outside surface of each fuel electrode collector 21 embedded in the first recess 12. An interconnector 30 is embedded in a third recess 21b formed in the fuel electrode collector 21 embedded in the first recess 12. A gas seal layer 40 is provided on the outside surface of the support substrate 10, across the outside surface of the interconnector 30 and the outside surface of the solid electrolyte 41. |
