PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire harness design apparatus configured to design a wire harness in consideration of the influence of a component on a wire harness, and a design method.SOLUTION: A wire harness design apparatus 1 includes: receiving means 20 of receiving harness information 32; display means 21 of displaying three-dimensional images of components excluding a wire harness, on a screen of a display unit 5, on the basis of three-dimensional CAD data 31; determination means 22 which routes a three-dimensional image of the wire harness in a space between the three-dimensional images displayed on the screen of the display unit 5, on the basis of the harness information 32, to determine a route of the wire harness; and cable selection means 23 of extracting a component having an influence on the wire harness, in reference to environment information of the components, and selecting a cable which endures the influence of the component, as a cable candidate constituting the wire harness, from cables in a cable library 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
