PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to intuitively comprehend a depth of an invisible object (in a short time).SOLUTION: A composite image generation unit 6 synthesizes a three-dimensional graphic image representing an invisible object existing inside an object and a three-dimensional internal cross-sectional image representing a cross section of the object along the invisible object, on an image obtained by imaging the object externally. The three-dimensional graphic image representing the invisible object is synthesized in a position, in the captured image, corresponding to a position where the invisible object exists. The three-dimensional internal cross-sectional image is synthesized so that the cross section is along the invisible object represented by the three-dimensional graphic image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
