PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make consumption of toner due to calibration uniform for each of colors in a short operation time without reducing the accuracy of calibration.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus including a CPU 304 that performs correction control of determining a correction value for correcting color shift of a toner image formed with a plurality of cartridges 20 on the basis of a result of detection from a toner sensor 40, wherein when performing two-color calibration by using not all the plurality of cartridges 20, but at least two of the cartridges 20 (S108), the CPU 304 selects a cartridge 20 to be a reference (S106) from the cartridges 20 other than replaced cartridges 20 in which correction values are to be determined (YES in S101, S102).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
