PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a membrane electrode assembly capable of suppressing disposal cost of parts and a method of manufacturing a fuel cell including the membrane electrode assembly.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the MEA according to the present invention includes dispersing catalyst particles in a solvent to prepare catalyst ink 211 used for forming a catalyst layer, estimating a gas transport resistance which changes with elapsed time from a particle size distribution which changes with the elapsed time of other catalyst ink which has been subjected, on the basis of the correlation between the particle size distribution of the catalyst particles contained in the catalyst ink which changes with elapsed time after preparation of the catalyst ink and the gas transport resistance of the catalyst layer which changes with elapsed time, and determining whether the other catalyst ink can be advanced to the next process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
