PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To broaden the usable range of the concentration of an absorbing solution compared to the conventional absorbing solution. SOLUTION: In an absorbing solution for an absorption refrigerating machine containing a refrigerant and an absorber which absorbs the vapor of this refrigerant, the absorber contains lithium bromide, lithium chloride and lithium nitrate and is dissolved in a refrigerant with a mixing ratio of the lithium chloride: the lithium nitrate: the lithium bromide of 0.375-0.425:0.225-0.275:1 to enable air cooling of an absorption refrigerating machine.
