PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cooperative purchase system under the leadership of a purchaser by utilizing information technology. SOLUTION: Data containing the name of an article desired to purchase and a desired purchasing price sent from plural buyer terminals 7 through the Internet 1 are sent through a WWW server 3 to a base managing system (DBMS) 5 and registered in database files 51-55 managed by the DBMS 5. The DBMS 5 totals the number of desiring buyers for each article from the data registered in the database files 51-55. The WWW server 3 has an HTML file 32 for advertising the totaled result on a web page. When a seller to sell the articles desired to purchase registered in the database files 51-55 appears, electronic mail for announcing the information of the seller to each of buyers is sent to each of buyer terminals 7 by a mail server 4. |
