PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pole change induction motor which can obtain an arbitrary pole number ratio, can select an arbitrary winding turns, can obtain a very large operation range and can realize stable pole change. SOLUTION: This pole change induction motor has a rotor 1 with cage-type windings, a stator 2, which has at least one set of a 1st winding 2a with 2n poles and a 2nd winding 2b with 2m poles which are wound on the same stator core 2, a 1st inverter 3 connected to the 1st winding 2a and a 2nd inverter 4 connected to the 2nd winding. |
