PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt sensor which has a reduced number of components, an improved assembling workability, and possibility for miniaturization. SOLUTION: Two sets of magnetic sensors 11 are disposed symmetrically along axes X, Y. A spherical magnetic block 13 adjoins a nearly central portion of a magnet 12 where its flux density is maximum by only an attractive force due to the magnetic force of the magnet 12. Owing to the attractive force, the magnetic block 13 normally locates below the center of the magnet 12. When an object tilts, the magnetic block 13 easily moves to change the surrounding magnetic field, causing the magnetic sensors 11 to change their outputs. This allows the number of components such as case, etc., needed for the conventional tilt sensor to be reduced and eliminates the case bonding (connecting) step in the manufacturing process, resulting in an improved assembling workability. Thus, a tilt sensor capable of being miniaturized can be built up.
