PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device that has high machining accuracy and high durability and can be manufactured at low cost, a power transmitting device having the gear device, and equipment having the power transmitting device. SOLUTION: This gear device comprises a main gear 10 made of silicon and a rotating shaft 30 made of carbon steel mounted while penetrating through a rotation center of the main gear 10. A pinion 20 having smaller number of teeth than those of the main gear 10 is integrally molded on the rotating shaft 30 so as to face to the main gear 10. Since the main gear 10 is made of silicon, accuracy of the main gear 10 can be improved comparing with the case of that made of metal. Since the pinion 20 and the rotating shaft 30 are integrally molded, decentering by installation displacement of the rotating shaft 30 with respect to the pinion 20 can be suppressed, and the accuracy can be improved. The pinion 20 is made of inexpensive metal, so that a manufacturing cost can be suppressed comparing with the case that both the main gear 10 and the pinion 20 are made of silicon.
