PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminate, which comprises a liquid crystal polymer film and a metal foil, useful as a laminate or the like used in a wiring board with good productivity while holding sufficient adhesive strength. SOLUTION: When the laminate, which comprises the liquid crystal polymer film and the metal foil, is manufactured by superposing the liquid crystal polymer film forming a molten phase of optical anisotropy and the metal foil one upon another and passing both of the film and the foil through the nip between metal pressure rolls to thermally bond them under pressure, heat-resistant films, each of which is selected from a heat-resistant resin film and a heat-resistant resin composite film, are further superposed on the sides of the contact surfaces with the metal pressure rolls to be passed through the nip between the metal pressure rolls along with the metal foil and the liquid crystal polymer film.
