The invention relates to a system for controlling the development of fungi during a phytopathogenic attack. The inventive system, according to the invention, consists in enabling a construct, which causes inhibition of expression of a gene which is essential to the development or the pathogenicity of the fungus, to be expressed to a plant. The invention also relates to plants and cells thus obtained.
