<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide unit with a feeding means having simplified construction for reliably and stably feeding lubricant to rolling elements via a direction changing passage, thus achieving maintenance-free. <P>SOLUTION: A communication hole 37 is formed to be communicated with the direction changing passage 30 through the side of an end face 47 of an end cap 4. On a recessed portion 31 formed on the end face 47 of the end cap 4, a lubricant storage plate 25 is arranged which is formed of a porous shaped body impregnated with lubricant. A protruded portion 26 of the lubricant storage plate 25 is fitted into the communication hole 37 so that an end face 46 of the protruded portion 26 is exposed while forming part of the wall face of the direction changing passage 30. A roller 5 rolling on the direction changing passage 30 contacts the protruded portion 26 of the lubricant storage plate 25, whereby the lubricant is fed to the roller 5 through the protruded portion 26 of the lubricant storage plate 25 to lubricate the roller 5 rolling on a raceway 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
