<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a process for accurate measurement and control of an image color value of a press which carries presence of a color bar or does not carry that. <P>SOLUTION: An image acquired from an imaging assembly 116 having a digital color camera 122 and a stroboassembly 120, is analyzed by image analysis 106 to obtain a color value in a maximum pixel group area, and an ink amount in an ink zone is adjusted by a difference from a target color value.
