PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock receiving apparatus capable of heightening holding strength to a door frame. SOLUTION: The lock receiving apparatus is equipped with a mounting base 3 erecting a pier stud 2 from a plate section 1 and a strike 9 having an interlocking opening 7 fixing a locking body 6 of a locking device 5 fixed to a door 4 and connected to the mounting base 3 by a screw 8 screwed from a column capital of the pier stud 2 of the mounting base 3, and jamb members 10 of the door frame are caught between the strike 9 and the plate section 1 of the mounting base 3 and are fixed to the door frame.
