PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boron nitride slurry obtained by thickly dispersing boron nitride powder in an organic medium, and giving coatings having little thickness unevenness, and to provide a mold-releasing agent comprising the slurry. SOLUTION: The boron nitride slurry comprises a silane coupling agent comprising a trialkoxysilane skeleton having at least one organic functional group selected from phenyl, amino and aminophenyl, an organic medium represented by molecular formula CxHy (x=6-8 integer, y=6-10 integer) and boron nitride powder, wherein the mass ratio of the organic medium to the boron nitride powder (organic medium/boron nitride powder) is 2.3-19, silane coupling agent is 0.5-5.3 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass boron nitride powder.
