PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroxy group-containing polymerizable compound excellent in compatibility with dentine, exhibiting a high bonding performance in the case of using it as a polymerizable monomer to be blended in a dental adhesive or primer and also having a low water absorptivity. SOLUTION: This hydroxy group-containing polymerizable compound expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, A is H or methyl; (l) is 1 to 6 integer; and (m) is 1 to 10 integer] is used.
