<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal apparatus, base station apparatus detection method, wireless communication system, and base station apparatus, wherein power consumption is reduced, and to provide the terminal apparatus and the like wherein throughput is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal apparatus is utilized in the wireless communication system having first and second base station groups, and for the terminal apparatus, access is permitted for a specific base station belonging to the second base station group but is not permitted for any base station other than the specific base station. The terminal apparatus includes: a reception unit which receives an identifier from any of base stations belonging to the first base station group; and a detection unit which executes base station detection processing for the second base station group if the received identifier is an identifier of a base station corresponding to the specific base station in the base stations belonging to the first base station group, and restricts execution of the base station detection processing if the received identifier is not the identifier of the base station corresponding to the specific base station in the base stations belonging to the first base station group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
