MULTILAYER FILM TO BE USED AS BASE FILM OF LUMINANCE-ENHANCING SHEET

Disclosed is a multilayer film to be used as a base film of a luminance-enhancing sheet, which comprises a polyester film and a coating layer formed on at least one side of the polyester film. This multilayer film is characterized in that the coating layer is composed of a binder resin and organic particles having an average particle size of 20-1000 nm, the average particle size of the organic particles is more than three times the thickness of the coating layer, and the refractive index difference between the organic particles and the binder resin is not more than 0.03. This multilayer film hardly suffers from heat deflection even when used in high temperature environments, and has blocking resistance in high temperature environments.
