PURPOSE: An OLED device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent brightness non-uniformity due to a shifted threshold voltage by restoring the threshold voltage of a driving transistor in a display-off mode or a screen save mode. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(102) comprises a plurality of pixels. Each pixel comprises a first transistor, a second transistor, a storage capacitor and an organic light-emitting diode. An input unit inputs data corresponding to an image displayed on the display panel and a control signal for driving the display panel, respectively. A data average calculation unit(112) produces the average of the inputted data. A negative average data output unit produces a negative average data by reversing a negative average data according to a mode selection signal. A data selection unit(120) selectively outputs one among data of the input unit and a negative average data according to a mode selection signal. A data driving unit(106) drives the display panel by changing the output data of the data selection unit into a pixel voltage.
