PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide mechanism precisely positioning and fitting and fixing a rail in a predetermined position of a frame by simple work, and saving on cost by eliminating waste where a large number of fitting and fixing position setting blocks of assumed dimensions are stocked in advance. SOLUTION: The linear motion mechanism comprises a rolling element, and a guide device 9 composed of a rail rolling or rotating while contacting with the rolling element and the frame 8 fitted and fixed with the rail.
