PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct acting guide mechanism capable of preventing the vibration from occurring resulting from the wear occurring between a rolling body and a raceway. SOLUTION: A metallic material forming a raceway mounting portion 5, 5 is selected so that the rigidity (Young's modulus) of a metallic material forming the raceways mounting portion 5, 5 comprising a second frame is lower than the rigidity (Young's modulus) of a metallic material (steel material) forming a traverse beam 3 comprising a first frame. The raceway mounting portion 5, 5 mounted by the raceway 6 is softened compared to the traverse beam 3 to apt to bend.
