PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a faucet mounting substrate which facilitates the mounting of the faucet in an inclined position to a counter by an inexpensive method. SOLUTION: The faucet 21 is inclined at an angleαwith respect to the counter 23, and a faucet body 21a of the faucet 21 has a cylindrical body having a mounting portion 21b arranged at the lower end thereof. Then the mounting substrate 30 is mounted to the mounting portion 21b which is then inserted into a mounting hole 23a formed at the counter 23, a pad 31 is mounted to the mounting portion 21b from the tip of the same, and the pad and the mounting portion are fixed to each other with a nut 32. The mounting substrate 30 and the pad 31 are cylindrical and defined by one-side end faces 30a, 31a, and other end faces 30b, 31b that are inclined at the angleαwith respect to a cylinder axis. Then a water sealing packing 33 is inserted into a gap between one end face 30a of the mounting substrate 30 and an end area 23b of the counter 23. Further the mounting substrate 30 has two pairs of positioning projections Q, i.e. four in total, formed on one end face 30a that internally contact with the mounting hole 23a formed at the counter 23 at locations that are symmetric with respect to an inclined axial plane P of the faucet body 21a.
