The programmable automatic feeder for fish and other animals is a small apparatus made from PBC or ABS plastic that can be easily fitted to any container. The apparatus contains a manually or remotely programmable electronic circuit, inside a main body, for controlling the apparatus. The apparatus can detect daylight according to the photoperiod of the fish, providing an audible alarm for the animals and a flashing LED light to indicate that the apparatus is working. The apparatus also contains a motor for opening and closing a gate, and a motor that moves an impeller and a vibrator. The apparatus has two types of impellers depending on whether the food is to be supplied over short or long distances, as well as three operating speeds. The apparatus can be charged by alternating current from 110 to 220 VAC or by an external battery charged by a photovoltaic cell by means of a charge controller. |
