PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a resin waste capable of efficiently treating a resin waste without blocking an operation of a cement facility even when using a resin waste containing a carbon fiber as a fuel.SOLUTION: A method for treating a resin waste containing a carbon fiber includes: a heating and separation step of heating a resin portion of the resin waste and separating a carbon fiber; and a collection step of subjecting a scattering substance containing the carbon fiber generated in the heating and separation step to filter treatment, and collecting the scattering substance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
