PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive transfer recording medium having a heat-resistant lubricant layer which has self-cleaning properties and is free from maintenance, has no unevenness of thermal conduction, and can be applied to a high-speed printer that is easy to be affected by thermal conduction unevenness.SOLUTION: A thermosensitive transfer recording medium 1 has a heat-resistant lubricant layer 30 formed on one surface of a base material 10, and a dye layer 20 formed on the other surface thereof. The heat-resistant lubricant layer 30 contains a binder resin formed of a thermoplastic resin or a reactant of the thermoplastic resin and polyvalent isocyanate, inorganic particles having cleavage in one direction, and organic particles. A specific area of the inorganic particles is 8-20 m/g, and the organic particles have a particle diameter in a range of 1-2 times the thickness of the heat-resistant lubricant layer, and have a Vicat softening point of 100-200°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
