PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress scattering of a foreign material such as paper powder while suppressing increase in size of the device and cost increase.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes ribs 37a, 37b, 37c, 37d on a support member 28. Each rib is provided so as to cross the first line A1 connecting a reference position T0 being a contact position between a discharge driven roller 33 and a sheet and a position T1 and the second line A2 connecting the reference position T0 and a position T2. With this configuration, propagation of vibration generated at the reference position T0 to a sheet edge Pd (a range facing a recording head 30 in the sheet edge Pd) can be prevented, or the degree thereof can be alleviated. Therefore, scattering of paper powder and the like from the sheet edge Pd can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
