PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional LED lighting control circuit that since the minimum value of a bottom current IB is zero, it is impossible to make the average current of the LED smaller than the average current when the bottom current IB is zero.SOLUTION: An LED lighting control circuit performing the lighting control of an LED includes an inductor, first and second switches, a hysteresis control circuit, and an intermittent operation control circuit for transmitting a second control signal to the first switch when the amount of dimming indicated by a first control signal is higher than a predetermined reference amount of dimming, and for transmitting the second control signal intermittently to the first switch when the amount of dimming indicated by the first control signal is lower than the reference amount of dimming. |
