PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide organic EL modules that can be used as a luminaire by paving the ceiling surface, or the like, with organic EL modules and can emit light from the whole surface thereof.SOLUTION: An organic EL module 1 is produced by attaching an organic EL panel 2 to a frame (circumference holding member) 3. Multiple light-emitting elements (circumference light-emitting members) 8, consisting of LEDs, are attached uniformly to the exposed surface 6 of the frame 3 over the whole area thereof. When the organic EL module 1 is operated, light is emitted from the light-emitting surface 17 of the organic EL panel 2, and light is also emitted from the multiple light-emitting elements 8 on the exposed surface 6 of the frame 3. Consequently, light can also be emitted from the exposed surface 6 of the frame 3. When paving the ceiling surface, or the like, with multiple light-emitting modules 1, light can be emitted from the whole surface of the ceiling surface, or the like. |
