PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix unfixed toner carried on a recording medium to the recording medium more securely.SOLUTION: A control device 95 supplies electric power to a first halogen heater 83 to heat a fixing roller 60 by a heating roller 80, and supplies electric power to a second halogen heater 73 to heat a pressure roller 70 from inside, thereby fixing unfixed toner T carried on a sheet P passing through a nip part Nd to the sheet P. When a value obtained by dividing the electric power to be supplied to the first halogen heater 83 by heat capacity of the heating roller 80 is W1 and a value obtained by dividing the electric power to be supplied to the second halogen heater 73 by heat capacity of the pressure roller 70 is W2, the control device 95 controls the electric power to be supplied to the first and second halogen heaters 83, 73 so that the temperature of the fixing roller 60 is kept so as to melt the unfixed toner T and W2 is 0.75 times or more W1. |
