Provided in an embodiment of the present invention is a method for controlling a residential gateway, applied to a terminal apparatus. The method comprises: establishing a communication connection with a residential gateway; collecting detection data of a user state; when the user state is determined to satisfy a reporting condition according to the detection data, reporting the user state to the residential gateway. Also disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is a device for controlling a residential gateway, applied to a terminal apparatus and comprising an associated module, a user state acquisition module, and a reporting module. |
