<p>PURPOSE:To take a self-diagnosis whether or not operation control over a motor is abnormal by providing a signal conversion part which converts the pulse train signal from an output control part into a specific signal and a 2nd pulse counter for the self-diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:An output control part 3 generates output pulses according with the pulse train generated by a pulse train generating circuit 2 with the signal from the microprocessor 1 and the signal directly from the microprocessor 1. A 1st pulse counter 7 counts the two-phase pulse train from a rotary encoder 6. The motor controller is provided specially with the signal conversion part 8 which generates the two-phase pulse train equivalent to the two-phase pulse train from the rotary encoder 6 with the pulse train from the output control part 3 and the 2nd pulse counter 9 which counts the two-phase pulse train generated by this signal conversion part 8. Consequently, the values of the 1st and 2nd pulse counters 7 and 9 are compared with each other to detect the occurrence of abnormality from a motor driver 4 to the side a motor 5, thereby improving the reliability of motor control.</p> |
