PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter which prevents the conduit line of tap water or the like from being frozen. SOLUTION: The flowmeter is provided with a transmitting-receiving means 12 which propagates sound waves into a fluid inside a flow channel so as to be transmitted an received, a flow-rate detection means 13 which detects a flow ate on the basis of the propagation time of the transmission-reception of the sound waves, a temperature detection means 14 which detects the temperature of the fluid on the basis of the propagation time of the transmission- reception of the sound waves, and a freeze estimation means 15 which estimate the freeze of the conduit line on the basis of a change in the temperature by the means 14. On the basis of the change in the temperature by the means 14, the freeze of the conduit line can be estimated, and the freeze of the conduit line can be prevented.
